Exactly what the title says. I’ve searched and searched, but can’t find a side profile pic of the Gizmo. I’m scratch building one from odds and ends, using small glass bottles in place of the Nixie tubes, every single reference photo I can find is ‘top down’ so I have no idea if the the tubes are angled or not. I assume they would have been in the original calculator.... any help would be great fully received.

The nixie tubes sit on a metal shelf that is angled. You can see this clearly in this photo of a similar Sanyo model. The 808Ds that were used in GB1 are very similar to this:
